Nevada HCQC Child Care Provider Training Requirements
Assembly Bill No. 109 was approved by Governor Sandoval and is now in effect.
As of January 1, 2016, for child care facilities that provide care for more than 12 children, the annual training hours will be increased to 24 hours. Caregivers must complete at least 24 Nevada Registry approved annual training hours with at least 2 hours of the training devoted to the lifelong wellness, health and safety of children.
