A Child Development Associate (CDA) can be obtained in three settings: center-based, family childcare, and home visitor, with 120 hours of child care training required in the eight CDA content areas, with a minimum of 10 hours in each content area. The online training modules below meet the 120 clock hours of professional development required by the Council for Professional Recognition and are specific to a Preschool Setting.

The CDA Training Modules 1-8 are available as a discounted course group rate. The discounted course group rate is $159.00 per person for 48 online courses that equal 120 hours/12 CEUs of training required to earn your CDA. The CDA Training includes resources in English, (Spanish Coming Soon!), and a certificate of completion/transcript.
This online training meets the 120-hour curriculum-based training required for the CDA credential. Complete this online child care training at your own pace.

Teaching License Renewal (120 Hours of Professional Development)
After earning a teaching certification, educators from many states must maintain their credential. The Professional Educator License remains valid for five years in some states. At the end of five years, educators must complete 120 hours of professional development to renew their license. This requirement applies to all licensed teachers, including those with a master's degree. Teachers can meet the professional development requirement in many ways. They can complete college coursework at an accredited institution or take workshops or online professional development courses. (NOTE: Professional Development hours may vary for each state. Check with your state's licensing requirements).
